Sometimes you can’t wait to talk and pray with someone on the pastoral team at Emmaus Rd, or you don’t want to share your concerns and needs with your small group. On this page you’ll find a list of places offering emergency help.

Mental Health - to talk to someone immediately 

  • Samaritans: A 24-7 helpline for urgent help with mental health. Call 116 123.

  • Shout: A free 24/7 crisis text service. Text SHOUT to 85258.

Foodbank - Find your closest food bank and see how to get an emergency referral.

Money

  • CAP: Help getting yourself out of debt, free money advice and support.   

  • Citizens Advice: Emergency help with money if you don’t have enough to live on and need help with claiming benefits and accessing the Household Support Fund.

Help with clothing and baby equipment

The Jigsaw Storehouse: A referral project providing clothing, equipment and toys for families with children under 11 across Surrey and Hampshire.
