We exist to see lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. Everything we do is about seeking God's transformative presence in our lives — joyfully inviting others to experience God's love for themselves, and building places of belonging where we love one another well.

Eighteen years of prayer have shaped who we are. Through an ongoing conversation with the living God — present with us in every moment of our stories — we have become a people rooted in seeking him together. The past 18 months have brought significant change in leadership and staffing, but our core calling hasn't shifted. We are people of prayer, learning to live in step with the Spirit.

September 2026 marks a year since our leadership handover from Founding Pastors Pete and Sammy Greig, who continue to lead around the world with 24-7 Prayer. In that year, our leaders have sought the Spirit and listened together for God's voice. What has emerged is a vision for the future of Emmaus Rd built around three words: presence, invitation, and belonging.

To read the full story of this past year and where we're going next, the Vision 26 booklet is a great place to start.

The Vision is Jesus. Proclaiming the presence of a living, loving God through our lives and our gatherings. Above all, we are passionate about the way the presence of God works in us, through us, for us, and with us, as we are transformed and sent into the world in love.

Giving our time and lives away to create spaces for the Gospel. We are committed to sharing our faith, speaking of the love of Jesus, and going to our neighbourhood, community, and world with the good news of the God who loves us.

Pursuing the presence of God as a family of followers who are committed to pray, play, and obey in joyful friendship with God and our community. We believe that the primary call of our lives is to be friends of God. Our Lighthouse projects in each town are places of social transformation, mission, and justice, creating spaces of belonging for our wider community.

If you don’t already, we’d love you to join us at an Emmaus Rd Sunday service and get involved in a midweek collective. On Sundays, all ages are equipped in God’s presence for every good work through worship, teaching, and the taking of communion. In collectives we get to really know one another, pray through life’s ups and downs, and to learn what it means to love one another.

Join us on a Sunday, speak to any of our team and we’ll help you find a collective you can call home.

rayer is central to the life of every Christian, and to the life of each church. If you would like to learn about the different ways in which we meet to pray across the Emmaus Rd congregations, click the link below.

All the activities that we do as a church - from discipling our children to leading worship on Sundays to loving our local communities and everything in between – are dependent on volunteers. We’d love you to prayerfully consider which area of church life you could serve in.

Finally, we would love to invite you to consider contributing financially to Emmaus Rd. Everything we’ve seen happen in our story so far has been through the power of the Holy Spirit, the time and energy of our team and volunteers, and through the financial generosity of so many people in this church community.

We love what Paul says about the giving of money in 2 Corinthians 9:7: ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’
